Referrers

What is the role of a Referrer?

Quite often people in a food crisis are already being helped by a  statutory or voluntary service. Their role, after assessment of the need, is to put the person in contact with foodbank4whitby. The referrer will provide  a client with a referral voucher giving the basic information needed by the food bank, such as name, address, the family size and the nature of the underlying emergency so that people can be helped with food in the most appropriate way.
