New donation point: Goathland Post Office.

Bumper harvest

We’ve had wonderful donations from churches and schools in the last few weeks. At this difficult time having anything approaching a harvest festival has been challenging, but we’ve been amazed at the generous giving from Whitby and the surrounding district. Thank you so much.

Marmalade and money….

All Stitched Up

Some wonderful people have stitched up over 100 facemasks for our clients. Lots of lovely patterns and sizes for children as well. Thank you all sew (sorry!) much.

Summer Superstars – children’s lunches during school holidays.

Beyond Housing tenants are offered free food for lunches during the summer for each school child in their household. The food can be collected every Monday between 11.30am and 12.30pm from the Foodbank, Poplar Row, Whitby. A bag contains a generous selection of food, treats and fruit sufficient for at least 5 meals, and an activity sheet. The scheme is limited to Beyond Housing tenants, who should bring some evidence of this on the first visit e.g. an email from Beyond Housing. We look forward to seeing you on Mondays – have fun and stay safe over the summer.

Big hearted villages

A huge thank you to all the local villages, from Goathland to Staithes to Fylingthorpe and many small communities in between. Your donations have helped many needy households over the past weeks and are much appreciated.
