Donors are the key to Foodbank4Whitby: without the generous donations of food from individuals, schools, churches, local businesses and other organisations in the community the foodbank simply would not exist!
Individual donations can be made at the Foodbank itself during opening hours (Mondays and Fridays 2.00-4.00pm), or at one of the many collection points in and around Whitby. There are boxes or bins for you to fill at:
- New 2021: Whitby Fire Station
- New 2021: Poundland
- Goathland Post Office,
- Staithes Co-op
- Getaway Travel, Flowergate, Whitby
- Penny Hedge Pub, Stainsacre Lane
- Co-op, Langbourne Road, Whitby
- Spar Castle Road Whitby
- Whitby Library
- Coliseum, Whitby
- Musicport, Skinner Street
- The Dispensary, Skinner Street
- Spar, Sleights
- Churchfield Medical Practice, Sleights
- Many local churches
If you cannot get to a collection point easily or you have a large number of items to donate then please call Chris 07789 765696.
